Karungali is black ebony wood (Diospyros ebenum) from Tamil Nadu, traditionally worn for protection from negative energy, calming the mind and strengthening Shani (Saturn).
How do I wear or use it?
Wear it on a Saturday morning after a bath. Chant the Shani mantra or “Om Namah Shivaya” and wear it on the right wrist (bracelet) or around the neck (mala).

Keep it dry; avoid soap and perfumes. Wipe with a soft cloth and apply a drop of sandalwood oil occasionally to keep the wood nourished.
