Wear it on a Monday morning after a bath. Sit facing east, hold the bead, chant “Om Namah Shivaya” 11 or 108 times and wear it touching the skin. It can be worn as a pendant, mala or bracelet.

Anyone — of any age, gender or faith — can wear Rudraksha. Remove it before sleeping, bathing, intimacy, attending a funeral or consuming non-vegetarian food/alcohol, and keep it on your puja altar meanwhile.
